She's in California!!! Rancho Cordova!!

The first day was good, lots of training but we ate at the mission home and that was cool. NOT gonna lie I am so happy to eat not CCM food anymore hahaha. I love the MP and wife, they're way cool. 

My comp is Hermana Sanchez. She is from Casper Wyoming and grew up her whole life there. I live with two other sisters and they're both from Utah, super cute. they're english speaking. I like them a lot. Super nice and cute and chill.

I'm in Rancho Cordova, we spend a lot of time on this road called Croetto which is full of people who speak spanish haha, and there are freaking stop signs every ten feet and it kills me haha. Only senior companions drive too so that kinda bugs meee.... I don't know. I'm trying to work on that exact obedience thing. And it's tough, but I just need to have a better attitude about it as well. But seriously. How am I supposed to know where anything is if I never drive. ANYWAY. It's good. We only have one investigator with a baptismal date. I haven't met him yet, he's never come to church either.

Last P-Day in Mexico

Hey I would actually love to have some hoodies and my owl dress I can´t believe I forgot it! Ummm any hoodies would do really. I don´t know which ones. Maybe like the green soccer one and another one. Maybe the Lumineers? I don´t know. I miss them all the time. I can´t believe I talked myself out of bringing them. so stupid. Annnnnddddd pues I can´t think of anything else. Yay!! thanks for the bike!! I´m actually excited to travel with a nametag on. Hopefully someone will buy my food on the plane.... hahaha jk jk. But yeah, I´ll try and borrow someone´s phone maybe when we´re at LAX? I think we stop there for a while. I don´t know. I can´t think of anything really..... I would really love some more of my Merrill shoes because I wore those sock things with mine one day and it was like the worst decision ever in my life. They smell now and I can´t wash them really and I´m just sad, and now I can´t not wear socks with them, and I never had to before. So yeah. That´s it really... Yeah. I´m going to el campo! haha I can´t wait!!!!!! Jake said this week he saw a summoning or an exorcism in a parking lot and went over to check it out because it just sounded like someone was screaming and needed help and yeah, good times. silly kid.  I´m going to miss my district so much <3 I´m so sad to leave them but I´m excited to get to the field and find out who my companion will be and cook food for myself and drive a car.  I LOVE  YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!                                                            Katie and her companion                                                    All the sisters in our district The CCM with our teachers These aren´t super exciting, but hey, pictures are pictures right? That soda saved my life, I got sick and it helped a ton. Pues, not much to say really haha If I think of anything else I´ll let you know. We did have a giant thunder rain hail storm and it was way fun. We were running home, getting soaked, and then the sprinklers came on and hit us in the face hahaha.

SO good. so good. And those cookies, holy moses, so good. They´re almost all gone, I shared a lot, dont worry, I´m not getting fat hahhaa,

Well life is good here. Love the district even more now haha for real. Love them all so much. I hope you get all the pictures back, but I'm really glad you got the ones of some of Des. Can you send some of those to Perry?

You had a busy week, for realzies. This week is TRC where we teach a lesson to native volunteers, we got a member named Jaime and it was the BEST lesson ever. We just talked about prayer and receiving revelations and it was the BEST thing ever. I just bore my testimony and the spirit like flooded in there, at least that's what it felt like to me hahaha, and I totally cried and Hermana Stevens did a little bit after too when she talked about the Holy Ghost because I made her hahaha it just segued really well and I was like Hey talk about the HG Now. hahahaha it was awesome. 

Why did granny say I said I don't have time to email you? Psh. Where do you guys get these ideas. haha I have as much time as I want because my name is Hermana McCloud and I do what I want because I want righteous things. Obviously. Okay well Imma try and send some more pictures. but there are some more people I want to email and I really don't know if I have enough time, I mean because I read so many emails and it takes me SO Long hahahaha jk jk LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you guys are the best.

Okay, so these are some pictures of the campus and around. And my best moment this week was when I was tipping all the ugly Liz Swindle paintings in my building so they were crooked and then the worst one of young Joseph who has fallen over and looks sick and tired and blinded during the first vision..so I may have used a little more force than was necessary on accident.... and so it fell off the wall, at which point I yelled and grabbed the painting, pinning it to the wall- with my hand slapping Josephs face-and it was pretty great, and then Elder Collins came and told me I didn't have to tear down paintings even though I don't like them. So we took it down again today for pictures and then he put it back, so that's all those pictures of the ugly painting. Everyone in my district picks on me because I hate Liz Swindle hahhaa. #notashamed.

CCM Life

I can't believe how cold it was for you guys!! It's so nice here. For real.

Um the food is good, they have kinda weird options sometimes but its good. Like breakfast is usually scrambled eggs and something weird like chicken salad, bean burritos, or nachos, no joke, straight up meat sauce on chips with cheese on top. But in the hall they have like a giant toast making station haha so thats good. And in the comedor there's two salad bars that have salad and some fruit and then condiments. They make fresh salsa a lot and its pretty spicy but SO GOOD. And then sometimes they have american stuff like pancakes or waffles. They french toast is the best, basically because its like..... idk how to explain haha, it has cinnamon sugar crystallized onto it or something. Its amazing. Otherwise its a ton of meat all the time for lunch and dinner--like hamburgers, or enchiladas, or chicken sandwiches, or pizza. or these kind of taquito things. and there's almost always refried beans and rice. So yeah. It's cool.

Class is mostly boring but sometimes it's really fun. Our teachers are good. Actually I just remembered Hermano Saucedo says hi haha. He's our main day teacher. Then we have a language and fundamentals teacher. and then a night teacher. So basically the same three people every day haha. Its fine. I basically know all the spanish they're teaching us right now so its kind of super boring, but I learn new words sometimes. so its whatever. 

Every night almost haha I'll bring up something and make it controversial haha like adam and eve- were they actually real people #brighamyoungquote haha or like Nephi killing Laban. 

I love my district so much. It's 6 sisters and 2 elders. And we read a verse somewhere in Nephi about knowing the mysteries of God, and so we do mysteries of each other, and so we have mystery time everyday when we can't study or work anymore, and some of mine were that I love snakes, and am a huge Heavenly Mother advocate.

I dont know. Life honestly is the same everyday, nothing really changes. We watched Meet the Mormons and it was cool. I would see it just to say I've seen it haha. The candy bomber part is the only part that actually got me at all though. The rest was like uh yep #reallifehappens.... idk hahaha, I think even Mormons who have never lived anywhere other than Utah would have been surprised by what they saw in the movie you know? But it was cool.

First P-Day Email!!

Can you just check my juno email and make sure I get all the emails to
my mish email now. I lost the ability to make question marks so that
was meant to be a polite question not a demand haha. UGHHH I missed
her letter!!!!! SADNESS.  I thought she was familiar hahaha. cool. 

We just went to the visitors center today and I got a bag and a case and a
framed pic of the temple for her haha Cleaned me out almost but I'm
good. We get a ton of pesos every week so its cool. 

 My comp is Hermana Olivia Stevens from Layton Utah
and she's cute and has a boyfriend in Orlanda on his mission and she is
musical and stuff and she loves David Bowie, so we get along really
well. The best spiritual experience was that talk Jeannine talked
about--the character of Christ, by Bednar, and it made me cry a
little, especially thinking about the Driscolls. How are they doing?
Ah! found it! haha cool. But yeah, life is good, food is good. Hermana
Corbridge who is one of my roommates was in Brian Patch's YSA ward
with me and I knew her a little then so we can talk about people from
the ward be both disliked hahahah 

Ok well I bettter move on. LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
